As Head of IT, you will be responsible for shaping and driving the vision, strategy, and operations of our Internal IT function. You will lead the IT department to ensure that the technology infrastructure, internal systems, hardware, and services are effective, secure, and aligned with our business objectives. With a strong focus on operational excellence, you will oversee IT projects, safeguard data security, and collaborate across departments to support organizational growth. This is a leadership role that requires strategic thinking, hands-on problem-solving, and a passion for developing high-performing teams.


IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

  • Set the vision and strategy: Define and drive the Internal IT function, ensuring it aligns with the organization’s goals and future direction.

  • Lead and oversee IT functions: Manage internal IT platform architectures, internal systems software, hardware & databases, data & voice networks, end-user technology, and internal server/cloud solutions.

  • Optimize IT processes: Develop and implement IT policies and practices that support operational efficiency and business continuity.

  • Project management: Ensure that IT projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet organizational quality standards.

  • Ensure security & compliance: Safeguard the organization from cyber threats and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

  • Collaborate across departments: Work closely with other stakeholders to align IT objectives with broader business goals.

  • Team leadership: Lead, mentor, and empower IT team members, ensuring hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and coaching are in line with company policies.

  • Foster a culture of efficiency: Encourage continuous process improvements, workforce planning, and task prioritization to optimize operational outcomes.

  • Own the MB.io IT landscape: Oversee all internal applications and systems, ensuring compliance with standard policies, security regulations, and best practices.

  • Vendor & Budget Management: Oversee IT budgets, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with external vendors.

  • Incident & Crisis Management: Ensure rapid response and resolution of IT incidents to minimize disruptions.

  • Scalability & Future Readiness: Plan IT infrastructure to support company growth and evolving needs.

TO SUCCEED YOU NEED

  • Proven experience as an IT leader or Head of IT in a complex organizational setup.

  • Strong technical background in IT systems architecture, cloud solutions, databases, and IT operations.

  • Solid knowledge of data security and data privacy regulations (GDPR is a plus).

  • Demonstrated experience managing IT projects, from conception to completion.

  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and coach diverse teams.

  • Experience in designing and implementing IT policies and process frameworks.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.

  • Effective collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
